Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Amos 3:3 (NKJV)
The Word of God is liberating truth. It is life, it is reality. Going against it is inviting delusion and defeat. The Word is God’s thoughts about you. It is God’s made up mind about you. It is His plans concerning you.
Agreeing with the Word is how we get to be in one accord with God. It is how we walk in harmony with the Lord, it is how we live a life worthy of Him fully pleasing Him in all things.
Agreeing with the Word is believing or trusting in the Word. You can not agree with or believe or trust in what you have not heard.
Romans 10:14 (AMPC) But how are people to call upon Him Whom they have not believed [in Whom they have no faith, on Whom they have no reliance]? And how are they to believe in Him [adhere to, trust in, and rely upon Him] of Whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without a preacher?
To agree with the Word you ought to be hearing it.
We effortlessly agree and comfortably flow with the culture, traditions, customs, and practices, we’ve grown up hearing and seeing over and over again.
Agree with the Word of God that speaks and gives life, healing, wisdom, peace, joy, victory, correction, strength, and direction as you hear it over and over again.
Agree with the Word of God as you act on it, doing everything in obedience to it.
James 1:22 (AMPC) But be doers of the Word [obey the message], and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth].
