Proverbs 3:27-28 (MSG) Never walk away from someone who deserves help; your hand is [God’s] hand for that person. Don’t tell your neighbor, “Maybe some other time,” or, “Try me tomorrow,” when the money’s right there in your pocket.
Nowhere is serving God more truly and evidently seen than in helping fellow man. We can only significantly touch God by touching the boy, girl, woman, and man created in God’s image.
In order to touch man most evidently God became a man in Jesus Christ of Nazareth. He went about doing good touching, giving out a helping hand to those in need.
We are the body of Christ in whom God’s fullness dwells. We are His eyes to see the one who needs help, we are His ears to hear that cry for help, we are His feet to rush to the aid of the troubled, we are His hands to reach out and meet every need.
