So then, you Gentiles are not foreigners or strangers any longer; you are now citizens together with God’s people and members of the family of God. Ephesians 2:19 (GNT)
Man was created as a member of the Love family which is God’s family. When man sinned by believing the lie that he wasn’t part of God’s love family he slipped into that distorted and distant view of a foreigner and stranger to God. We all saw God far removed from us. But thanks to God for Jesus the Word of God, very God Himself who became flesh and came and set up home among us and proved to us that He is at home with us where we are right here on earth in our humanity. He put away the sin, guilt, and condemnation, sense of unworthiness and inferiority that made us foreigners and strangers enabling us to be at home with Him. In Christ we are now citizens together with God’s people and members of the family of God.
