Words can be your salvation. Words can also be your damnation.” Matthew 12:37 (MSG)
Much as it’s God’s desire that each and every one of all humanity be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, yet He doesn’t force any one into it. We ought to be willing, accept and lay hold of what God has already given us.
Through Jesus Christ, in His crucifixion, death, and resurrection, Salvation has been made available to all people of all generations.
God personally present in Jesus Christ has already reconciled us to Himself. The Father has already embraced us in Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:19 (AMPC) It was God [personally present] in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favor with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men] their trespasses [but cancelling them], and committing to us the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favor).
God has already availed Salvation through Christ’s death on the Cross. So what’s left id for you to accept and embrace what God has already accomplished and given to you in Christ.
You have to choose to take the gift of Salvation given to you already, unwrap it and start enjoying it.
Embrace the God who already has embraced you. Say yes to the One who first said yes to you. Until you lay hold of Salvation it will remain an untouched, unwrapped, and unused gift. So you have to decide.
The decision is in your heart and in your mouth. You already have heard perhaps more than once the message of Salvation – of God embracing you in Christ. Now that Word is in your heart and in your mouth.
Simply go ahead and speak out with your mouth what you believe in your heart – that God has reconciled you to Himself in Christ, He doesn’t hold anything against you. You are His child, forever loved, forgiven, made right, and accepted. Those words are your Salvation.
