10For as the rain and snow come down from the heavens, and return not there again, but water the earth and make it bring forth and sprout, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, 11So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:10-11 (AMPC)
The only sure guarantee in life is what God says. Well-meaning people with great and powerful means can fail and have failed to deliver on what they solemnly avowed under oath to carry out.
Only the Lord is able to always bring to pass what He has promised. This is because the Words that God speaks have inherent mighty ability for self-fulfillment.
Whatever God has spoken in your life know with certainty that it shall come to pass. Sometimes it may seem taking long happening but it shall surely come to fulfillment.
So do not waver, keep your heart set on what the Lord has spoken concerning you and that situation you may be going through.
The earth receives the rain and snow that come down from heaven. That’s all that earth does – receive, accept, take in and absorb. That’s earth’s part.
Then the rain’s part is to water the earth and make it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater.
Like earth your part is to receive and accept what God says. You don’t have to strive in your own effort to make anything happen as far as God’s purposes and plans for your life are concerned. Only receive what God has spoken.
Making things happen is the responsibility of the Word of God. It is the Word of God spoken that waters or equips and enables us, thus giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater. That means power to produce and to provide.
It is God’s spoken Word received in our lives that empowers us, produces, and provides in and through us.
James affirms this.
James 1:21(AMPC) So get rid of all uncleanness and the rampant outgrowth of wickedness, and in a humble (gentle, modest) spirit receive and welcome the Word which implanted and rooted [in your hearts] contains the power to save your souls.
The implanted and rooted Word is the one spoken, said or confessed.
Receive, take in, and absorb God’s spoken Word in your system (heart and mind) and see it produce and provide everything necessary for life.
