I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus, 5 that you were enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge, 6 even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you, 7 so that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will also confirm you to the end, [that you may be] blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 1:4-8(NKJV)
All is well that ends well. All ends well for everyone who trusts in the Lord.
Regardless of how we may have started we are always assured of a good and great ending because of the Lord with and in us who causes all things to work and fit into a plan for good for us. The story of our life begins in God and is brought to a good ending in Him. We are so blessed today that we have the Scriptures that have revealed to us the end from the beginning.
The men and women talked about in those Scriptures did not know what we know now.
For example Job in his sufferings at first thought that it was God who was afflicting him and didn’t know that God actually had a good and great ending for him.
God believed the best of Job and here’s what the Lord had in plan for Job. Even though you’re not much right now, you’ll end up better than ever. Job 8:7 (MSG)
This is God’s plan for all of us; these are His thoughts towards us. He desires to give us an expected end.
Jeremiah 29:11 (AMPC) For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.
We know how our story ends. There’s hope in our final outcome. Hope is always confident expectation of good. The final outcome of your health, family, education, ministry, career, business is of God and therefore exceedingly good. The manifestation of God’s blessings at the end of whatever we may be going through is far much greater than all we’ve gone through. God blessed Job’s later life even more than his earlier life. He ended up with fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand teams of oxen, and one thousand donkeys. Job 42:12 (MSG)
Jesus is the author and finisher of faith. He’s the author and finisher of our life, our story. We know from His crucifixion death and resurrection that He always ends everything triumphantly and gloriously well. Because Emanuel is with us, in us and for us, because He is our true story we are assured of a blessed ending. Whatever may have started out as annoying shall end up as anointed. Whatever may have started out as challenging shall end up as championing, whatever may have started out as embarrassing shall end up as empowerment.
