To men facts are truth but not so with God. When they brought the woman caught in adultery that was truth to those religious men – John 8:3-4. But Jesus revealed God’s truth as Mercy. He told the woman “I do not condemn you, go and sin no more – John 8:10,11. The truth that saved and set this woman free wasn’t the facts of what had happened or what she had done. It was God’s redeeming Mercy where He helps us out of every problem and sets us on the path of right living. Truth is on the side of Mercy means God’s truth is meant to help us out of difficulty and onto a straight path of life.That’s why we are to speak the truth in love – Ephesians 4:15
