“And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (NKJV)“
Our human weaknesses and disqualifications are the perfect condition for the manifestation of God’s divine strength. We don’t have to beat ourselves down, feel inadequate, useless, and defeated, because of natural, human limitations. The life God has given us, and called us to live is beyond the scope of natural, human abilities and resources. It’s a supernatural life, an excellent life. It can only be lived by supernatural means. A life of unchanging, enduring peace, joy, strength, victory can only be lived by the only one who is unchanging and enduring – God himself. So, for us to live this life here in this world there’s only one option – to wholly depend on him. For example, we can’t live truly righteous by striving in our own wisdom and strength to do all things right. While still in our unrighteousness, God gave us the free gift of his very own righteousness in his Son Jesus Christ who died and rose so we could be made righteous.
2 Corinthians 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin [to be] sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
It is believing this truth that empowers us to live right just like God himself lives. Whatever you find lacking in you humanly, naturally, physically be assured it is available abundantly in the new Christ life you have received from God.
If you’re naturally impatient, know that Christ in you is exceedingly patient. In him you are patient. That situation that’s impossible to deal with naturally, supernatural ability or the very the strength of God is readily on site to fully, totally handle it.
