Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? Isaiah 53:1 (NKJV)
Notice that the report of the Lord is connected to the arm of the Lord. Believing the report of the Lord is connected to the revealing of the arm of the Lord. The report of the Lord is what He says. The arm of the Lord has to do with what He has done.
Believing the report of the Lord is believing what He says about you.
To whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? To whom has what God has done been revealed?
God only says about you what He has done in you and for you. That’s He’s report.
God wants you to believe what He has done in you and for you.
But there’s another report that contradicts God’s report. It’s the report of what the devil and men have done. It’s the report of sin, guilt, fear, rejection, death, worry, failure, confusion, lack, and destruction. Unfortunately most people most of the time believe this evil report.
God’s report based on what He has done for you and in you through Jesus Christ says you’re forgiven; no condemnation for you, you’re justified, you’re accepted, you’re healed, you’re cared for, you’re free, you have overcome, you can do all things.
Choose to believe the report of the Lord. Choose to believe what God in Christ has done in and for you. Spend most of your time reading, studying and meditating on the portion of Scriptures in the Bible known as the Epistles. That’s from Romans to Jude. This is because that’s where the clearest and most complete revelation of what God has done and finished for us in Christ is found.
