One of the two who heard John [speak,] and followed Him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother. He first found his own brother Simon, and said to him, “We have found the Messiah” (which is translated, the Christ). And he brought him to Jesus. Now when Jesus looked at him, He said, “You are Simon the son of Jonah. You shall be called Cephas” (which is translated, A Stone). John 1:40-42 (NKJV)
Keeping the right company is everything in getting you to your right destiny. Andrew was a disciple of John the baptizer. He was in the right company. When John the baptizer testified of who Jesus was, Andrew followed Jesus.
Right company leads to the right knowledge there after right decision, and finally right direction.It’s Andrew who brought his brother Simon (later named Peter) to Jesus. Keeping the right company will make you the right company to others, leading them to their right destiny.
