The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.” John 5:7 (NKJV)
Excuse denies and delays execution of what is already a possibility. Christ the healer stood right in front of this sick man. Healing was right in his reach but he had an excuse.
Having reason why we can’t have or can’t do something is a result of having tried many times and many ways without getting the desired results.
Perhaps this man had asked many people many times to help him and none responded.God in His Mercy brought healing right where the man was. Jesus only spoke to him, he believed and was able to act and walk away healed.
Whatever excuse you give of what you don’t have, can’t do, what they did to you, your disqualifications, and failures as the reason for where you’re stuck, becomes invalid in the presence of the all-knowing and all sufficient One Who is saying to you now “..Get up! Pick up.. and walk!” John 5:8(AMPC)
Arise and go into the life of your destiny.
