I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread. Psalms 37:25 (NIV)
The righteous is the person who is in right standing with God. To be in right standing with God is not something we work for in our own effort rather it is a gift that God freely gives us in Jesus Christ and which we freely receive by faith in Him. Romans 3:24 (AMPC) [All] are justified and made upright and in right standing with God, freely and gratuitously by His grace (His unmerited favor and mercy), through the redemption which is [provided] in Christ Jesus.
Therefore the righteous is the one who believes or places their faith in Jesus Christ. Romans 3:22 (NLT) We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.
As the righteous or one in right standing with God it means He’s always with you and you’re always with Him. Therefore all that is His is yours. Luke 15:31 (AMPC) And the father said to him, Son, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours. As the righteous through faith in Christ you’re God’s child, He’s your Heavenly Father and all that He has you have. So how could you lack when all of your Father’s resources are at your disposal?
He says the world and all its fullness is His. See-Psalms 24:1. That’s exactly what’s yours as well. You can never lack.
Jesus told us that all the things we need in life like food and clothing are always available in the Kingdom and Righteousness of God. Matthew 6:33 (NKJV) But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. When we know, when we are established and are conscious of being in God’s Kingdom and that His Righteousness has been given to us as a gift we will see and walk in the abundance of His provision. As the righteous child of your righteous heavenly Father you can never lack any good thing.
