We put our hope in the LORD; he is our protector and our help. Psalms 33:20 (GNT)
Once upon a time we were all helpless, totally without help to get us out from under the tyranny of sin and death.
But then the Helper came and not only freed us from all bondage but also stayed as our everlasting help. Romans 5:6 (NLT) When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners.
You’re never without help. You always have a sure Divine Helper who Himself is all the Help you will ever need.
Just as the Lord is our Savior as well as our Salvation, the Lord is our Helper, and yes He is our Help.
The Lord is our Help out of all troubles. Psalms 34:17 (NLT) The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles.
Before going to the Cross Jesus told us that He would not leave us orphans but that He would ask the Father and He would send a Helper who is the Holy Spirit who would come to dwell in us forever. –See John 14:16-18.
This was accomplished when Jesus died, rose and was glorified at the Father’s right hand. The Holy Spirit, the greatest Helper has come and He forever dwells with us and in us.
We have help from on high; we have an ever present sure Divine Help – the Holy Spirit.
He’s always available to help us in every issue big or small.
He helps us to pray when we don’t know what to pray for or how to pray. –See Romans 8:26.
He helps us by giving us what to say in difficult situations where we do not know what to say. Luke 12:11-12 (MSG) “When they drag you into their meeting places, or into police courts and before judges, don’t worry about defending yourselves–what you’ll say or how you’ll say it. The right words will be there. The Holy Spirit will give you the right words when the time comes.”
Take advantage of this supernatural, reliable Help – the Holy Spirit who’s always with you and in you. Talk to the Lord, ask and thank Him for help always. Listen out for and follow His directions for that’s how you make use of His help.
