The Lord redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned. Psalms 34:22 (NKJV)
To redeem is to bring back someone or something to where they originally belong as well as to their original state. After the fall of man in the garden of Eden, God’s eternal attribute of Redeemer swung into action. Starting with God taking animal skins to cover Adam and Eve’s nakedness and shame we see throughout Scripture the Lord our Redeemer always bringing humanity back to our original image and likeness in Him. First, He instituted animal sacrifices as a temporary covering for sin but finally He sent His Son to once and for all redeem us from sin.On the Cross Jesus Christ the Lord our Redeemer has freed us from sin, guilt, condemnation and all the other effects of sin including death, sickness, the curse and poverty.Know and relate with the Lord as your Redeemer, experience and walk in your Redemption.
