What agreement [can there be between] a temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God; even as God said, I will dwell in and with and among them and will walk in and with and among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 2 Corinthians 6:16 (AMPC)
We do not go to some place to meet God. We do not get into a certain condition, mood or experience to encounter God. We do not practice a certain ritual to embrace God. This is because God is not removed or far from us. God is with us, God is in us. God lives with us, God lives in us. God walks with us, God walks among us.
For we are the temple of God. We are his special set apart permanent eternal home. Therefore we can always live, walk, and work in an ongoing, uninterrupted relationship and fellowship with God. This means everything we will ever need from God already right now lives in us. The love, light, and life of God is at home in us. The power of God is in us. The glory of God is in us. The peace of God is in us. The wisdom of God is in us. All of God is and lives in us.
