Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. James 1:12 (NIV)
When tests come your way, your attitude and response shouldn’t be hiding, running away, or giving in, but standing your ground and taking the challenge head on. In the school of life we can’t go to the next level or class until we have done and passed the test of our present class. All tests prove one thing – what is in the one being tested, what he’s made up of. When you have God with you, in you and for you and really know it then you can stand whatever comes up against you.
Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego stood the fiery furnace test and came out unharmed because they had a relationship with the God who delivers. Daniel 3.
Because God is in, with, and for you, His wisdom and ability are always working to your advantage and this should embolden you to go through anything. In the face of the test Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego spoke of their God and what He can do.
Always remember and declare your God and what He’s able to do.
