Psalm 45 is a Messianic Psalm, addressed to the King who is Jesus Christ.In this 2nd verse shared here it says that the King’s lips are anointed with Grace.The NKJV says Grace is poured upon your lips, the NLT says Gracious words stream from your lips.This King is Jesus and we later see Him fulfill this verse in His ministry. In Luke 4:18-19 Jesus quoting the Scriptures spoke of God’s works of anointing Him to preach, heal, release, and deliver people. His hearers reacted saying that gracious words came from His lips – Luke 4:22 (NLT).The gracious words from Jesus’ lips were the Gospel of God’s works – Luke 4:18-19.Speak Grace by declaring God’s works which include good news to the poor, sight to the blind, liberty to the captives, healing to the broken, deliverance to captives, and God’s favor.
