While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” Acts 13:2 (NIV)
You began in God’s mind. You’re His imagination produced in His image. Everything you should be and do God already cut it out for you before you were formed in your mother’s womb. The work you should do He already planned out before you showed up on the planet.
Neither you, nor your parents, neither your teachers, nor your trainers determine or choose the right thing you’re here on earth to accomplish but rather only God does. Knowing that you will never be fulfilled outside what you were destined to be and do it’s of the utmost essence that you discover God’s work that He set you apart for.
Paul (who was at first called Saul) and Barnabas found out the work for which God set them apart while worshipping the Lord and fasting.
We can know a lot of things from the Lord while worshipping Him.
Always take time to worship the Lord. In that intimate fellowship you’ll find out what the Lord has in plan and purpose for you.
