and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One). Ephesians 2:6 (AMPC)
It’s interesting to note that the one who runs the whole universe is Himself not running but sitting.
The busiest Guy in the cosmos is all along seated! God is seated!
But we’ve always had examples of this principle since time immemorial. From ancient times kings reign, make decrees, and run their kingdoms seated! In our traveling, the fastest and easiest and most effortless progress is achieved while seated – in a vehicle or aircraft.
You’re seated with Christ. Stay seated! Don’t let yourself get unseated with worries, cares, and the stress of ” how is this going to happen, how am I going to get that, how will I go through this, how will I get there?
We stay seated by getting rooted and established in the truth of what God has in Christ already done about every circumstance, condition, challenge, and crisis that we will ever face and go through in this life.
