Even so consider yourselves also dead to sin and your relation to it broken, but alive to God [living in unbroken fellowship with Him] in Christ Jesus. Romans 6:11 (AMPC)
Fellowship is sharing. It’s the purpose for our being. Fulfillment comes from fellowship which is giving and receiving.
There’s fellowship in the Godhead (Father, Son and Holy Spirit). Each one of them shares with the others everything. They share the same life, love, glory, and power.
The human body functions on fellowship. Each body part gives and receives life and energy causing growth.
He (Christ) makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love. Ephesians 4:16 (GNT)
In this Scripture the church is pictured as a human body. Therefore fellowship in the church or among believers means each member doing his special work, each one helping the others grow so that the whole church body is healthy, growing and full of love. God created us for fellowship with Him and one another. We fellowship or share with God through His Word, prayer, and worship.
We fellowship or share with Him in His Spirit – we are partakers of God’s Spirit. We know the fellowship of the Holy Spirit is with us always-see 2Corinthians 13:14.
The Holy Spirit dwells in us. It’s through the Holy Spirit that we fellowship or share in God’s life, love, wisdom and power. Staying in continual fellowship with God is always having the consciousness of sharing in His life, love, wisdom and power.
Think, talk, live as one connected with God sharing in His Spirit.
