For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, and through him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross. Colossians 1:19-20 (NLT)
What Adam did in turning all creation to enemies against God, Jesus undid by reconciling all creation with God. The reconciliation started right from when the Word or God became flesh and culminated in the Cross, the Resurrection and Seating at the Father’s Right Hand in His throne.
The Righteous and Holy God is not angry at us, He’s not disappointed with us, He’s not against us. God personally present in Christ was affirming to us of His goodwill, favor, and Peace towards us. In Christ we are united with God. He lives, moves, and has His being in us. We live and move and have our being in Him.
God is our friend. He is your friend, He is my friend. I am friend of God. He calls me friend. John 15:15.
