I will always thank the LORD; I will never stop praising him. I will praise him for what he has done; may all who are oppressed listen and be glad! Psalms 34:1-2 (GNT)
While we address all praise to God, we as well as the people who hear and witness our praise also benefit from it. The last part of our starting Scripture says “may all who are oppressed listen and be glad”. As we praise God, His power is released and sets free the oppressed as they listen.Paul and Silas were thrown into prison for preaching Christ – Acts 16:16-24. At midnight Paul and Silas sang praises and the prisoners heard them. Then there was an earthquake that shook the prison foundation, all the doors were opened and all the chains on all the prisoners were loosed. Acts 16:25-26 Continue praising the Lord, telling and thanking Him for what He has done, can do, and will do. Then see His saving, healing and delivering power released not only for you but also others who hear.
