There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. 1 John 4:18 (NKJV)
When we know we are loved then we know we are not alone on our own, we know we are watched over, cared for, we are provided for, we are protected. That’s what love does. So there can’t be fear where love runs the house.
All fear is a result of ignorance of the truth that we are totally loved unconditionally, completely, and forever.
Love watches over us carefully. Therefore we can’t have fear of any harm or hurt or danger. That’s why we boldly declare: Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You [are] with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. Psalms 23:4 (NKJV)
Love cares for us watchfully.
Therefore we can’t have and cannot be oppressed with the fear of lack or poverty.
So we confidently walk in the light of the truth that:
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Romans 8:32 (NKJV)
Love fires up and fuels faith.
Galatians 5:6 (AMPC) For [if we are] in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith activated and energized and expressed and working through love.
To know how much God loves us is to know how much He believes in us. He believes the best of us because He gave His best, His all (His beloved Son) to save us.
Because we are God’s best then He has the best of his weapons and armor around us, the best of His security and protection is concentrated exclusively around us. There’s nothing and no one we could ever fear. So we can triumphantly shout out loud- What then shall we say to these things? If God [is] for us, who [can be] against us? Romans 8:31 (NKJV)
