And you have caused them to become a Kingdom of priests for our God. And they will reign on the earth.” Revelation 5:10 (NLT)
We were born to reign. We are kings and priests.
As kings we are God’s representatives in carrying out and enforcing His plans and purposes in the earth. The glory, power and influence of God is revealed and released throughout all that He created through us.
The kingdom of God is established on earth through us.
For God to do and change anything here He has to do it through us His royal sons and daughters. The will of God is done on earth as it is in heaven through us.
As priests we represent all of creation before God.
Under the old testament in ancient Israel, as the priest so was the rest of the people he represented. As the high priest so was the entire nation. If the high priest was godly, righteous, accepted and his ministry approved of God so was the entire nation. If the high priest was ungodly, wicked, rejected, and his ministry disapproved of before God then so was the entire nation.
As priests of God because He has redeemed, reconciled and made us right with Him, we represent before Him a redeemed, reconciled, made right creation.
As priests of God we are to tell and show the whole world not only by word but by our attitude and living that we and consequently creation have been accepted and approved of God through what He personally did in Christ who is our High Priest. See-
2 Corinthians 5:18- 19.
As we see and are fully persuaded of our oneness with God so does creation, so does our neighborhood, so does our world, so does nature, so does the environment.
This is clearly and plainly evidenced looking at any place or community. When the people, especially the leaders living in a certain location are wicked then that place becomes hell in earth. But when the people especially the leaders living in a location are good then it’s heaven on earth.
The world gets to know and relate with God through us. Romans 8:19 (AMPC) For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God’s sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship].
