23After they were permitted to go, [the apostles] returned to their own [company] and told all that the chief priests and elders had said to them.
24And when they heard it, lifted their voices together with one united mind to God and said, O Sovereign Lord, You are He Who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and everything that is in them, Acts 4:23-24 (AMPC)
Beginning from Acts 3 the Apostles Peter and John command a man crippled from birth to walk in Jesus’ Name. The man gets up completely whole and walks. They then preach to the people gathered and astonished at this notable miracle but while they’re at it they are arrested and brought before the council of the rulers, elders, and teachers of religious law in Jerusalem who threatened them not to preach Jesus anymore.
After they’re let go, Peter and John return to their own company and tell them all that happened.
They go to those of like mind, of like faith, of like focus. The next verse – Acts 4:24 says when they (the people Peter and John went to) heard it they lifted their voices to God. They pointed the Apostles to God.
Keep company with those of like mind, faith and focus. Company that keeps you focused on God.
