The house of the Lord is all of us believers in Jesus Christ.God lives in us individually and corporately. The greatest, highest, and fullest expression and manifestation of God in us is when we all come together, and function as one body. The manifold expression of God’s love, joy, power, wisdom is experienced when we gather together as the church.There’s no other place and occasion of great joy than in the company of those in whom and through whom God dwells and operates. Church gathering is family time, it’s homecoming. Believers in Christ are the only eternal family. Our position and place in the Lord is the only eternal home.When we come together as believers it’s an opportunity to instruct, correct, warn, comfort, build, stir up, and encourage one another, we watchfully, caringly attend to one another, we invigorate and fire up each other to love and good works – Hebrews 10:24-25 That’s why the voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous Psalms 118:15
