Jesus has authority over all people not to enslave them, not to put or break them down, not to force them to do what He wants (though what He wants is only for our best), not to take away from them, but to give us Eternal Life.The authority of Jesus is to give us the God kind of Life – the righteous, peaceful, joyful Life.Jesus exercises His authority over us so we may be healed and whole in our minds, emotions, will, body, and relationships.He executes this authority through the words that He speaks to and over us. John 6:63.He has granted us this same authority. Matthew 28:18-20. We can speak the same words He speaks to us and release God’s kind of Life not only in our own lives and situations, but also in those of others around us.
