Israel had been delivered from bondage in Egypt and now they were on their way to the Promised Land.
The Red sea that stood before them was in effect saying it is not yet over, you have not escaped pharaoh. So there they were struck with terror, stuck, and stranded. But God told them to move forward and He parted the sea before them. They walked through the sea on dry ground.
Regardless of what obstacle before you that says you’re stuck and stranded, whatever says you’ve come to a dead end, the sea parting God says don’t stop but keep on moving forward because right there in that very place of no escape there’s a way through.
