God’s purpose was that we Jews who were the first to trust in Christ would bring praise and glory to God. And now you Gentiles have also heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago. Ephesians 1:12-13 (NLT)
God’s ultimate purpose is completeness and perfection in all His creation. His plan of attaining this is through the person and service of His Son Jesus Christ. He created all things in Christ. When Adam fell and consequently all creation with him; God personally came in His Son and reconciled all back to Him through the Cross.
All are included in God’s plan of redemption, reconciliation, and restoration. He’s not only the God of the Jew, the righteous, the good, those who know and seek Him, but He’s also the God of the Gentile, the unrighteous, the evil doers, those who hate and reject Him.
God’s Salvation is for all, He wants all people to be saved. Salvation includes deliverance from sin, sickness, the curse, poverty, death and all suffering. Salvation is wholeness, safety and satisfaction.
He has welcomed us all home into this Salvation through the sacrifice of His Son. He’s inviting every one of us to accept and embrace our inclusion in His Salvation plan for us through Jesus Christ.
