Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus, but oddly, when he heard that Lazarus was sick, he stayed on where he was for two more days. John 11:5-6 (MSG)
Naturally among men when someone more so a loved one is in trouble the normal right response is to immediately rush to their aid.But Jesus acted the very opposite when He heard His beloved friend was sick. The healer didn’t rush to heal His friend. This didn’t look like love at all.
But an all knowing God is not limited to what’s happening presently or outwardly but is fully aware of what’s underlying as well as the infinite future. So He’s able to love us, care for us, and help us with accurate and perfect knowledge.
He knows exactly what to do, how, and when, with glorious results.Focus on God’s faithful and unfailing love for you. Don’t entertain thoughts of “God where are you when I need you most?” Because it looks like God is silent, unconcerned not doing anything that you can see or feel about your situation. He already has something wonderful worked out for you.
