Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. Ephesians 1:4 (NLT)
It’s not you or me who decided to belong to God. We belonged to Him long before we knew it. We always belonged to God long before we knew Him just like a baby belongs to his parents even when he doesn’t know it yet.
God chose us in Christ before He ever created anything.
Now the Excellent and glorious Most High God cannot make a wrong, faulty, disappointing, regrettable choice.
As God’s chosen and choice in Christ you’re His best. Note that God chose us in Christ. He did not choose us in our own natural human strengths.
Chosen in Christ refers to sharing in all of Christ’s attributes.
You’re God’s chosen righteous and holy one. You’re God’s chosen king and priest, you’re God’s chosen child.
Choose to accept, live and walk as God’s chosen one.
