God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea Psalms 46:1-2 (NIV)
While God is everywhere, He is not impersonal. He is also with each one of us on a personal intimate level. He is ever present with us. Before we ever think of or find ourself in need of help God has always been there with us as our help.Because God is with us it doesn’t mean trouble won’t come but God shows Himself as a ready help getting us through, over, and out of all trouble. This is the reason we do not fear, no matter what comes or threatens. Great wisdom here is do not focus on the trouble but on God your help. Think and talk more about your ever-present help instead of the trouble. Continually remind and reinforce yourself with this confession that God is my ever-present help.
