You are a hiding place for me; You, Lord, preserve me from trouble, You surround me with songs and shouts of deliverance. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]! Psalms 32:7 (AMPC)
It is the Lord God who keeps us from all threat, harm and destruction. He is our safe hiding place. So we don’t have to go through life intimidated, terrified and paralyzed because of the troubles, dangers and destruction happening in the world.
Because we live, move and have our being in God, we are safely hid from the hatred of men, from sickness, from famine, from accidents, from death.
One way God preserves us from trouble according to our theme Scripture is to surround us with songs and shouts of deliverance.
So speak the Lord’s deliverance, sing it, and shout it.
