Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:19 (AMPC)
Under the old covenant God through the prophets consistently made promises of making a new thing. This new thing that He foretold was restoring to total wellbeing and wholeness everything that sin and the fall of man distorted, wasted, and destroyed.
God accomplished this new thing when Jesus came, went to the Cross, died, and rose from the dead.
The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is the new thing that God has made. He has restored us to His very own Righteousness and Holiness. He has come to dwell in us forever through His Holy Spirit. He has brought us from death to life.
We are restored to oneness and fellowship with God. We share in the very Life, Love and Light of God.
