A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, [Is] God in His holy habitation. Psalms 68:5 (NKJV)
God is a Father. He is our Father. We originate and come from Him. No one should live and walk around fatherless without a sense of belonging and acceptance.
You may be an orphan in the sense that your parents died or in the sense that no one has ever been actively present in your life as a father or mother.
Here’s good news for you. You have a heavenly Father who has always been there with you and for you from the beginning. You may not have known Him or His caring presence but He’s always been faithfully standing by your side. You might ask in disbelief why all that you went through or are going through happened while He was there. His answer is all along He’s been yearning for you to know and accept His embrace and love for you as it is clearly expressed and demonstrated through His Son Jesus Christ.
We can only know and experience God as our Father by believing on His Son Jesus Christ.
1 John 2:23 (Bible in Basic English) He who has no belief in the Son has not the Father: he who makes clear his belief in the Son has the Father.
