So then, as occasion and opportunity open up to us, let us do good [morally] to all people [not only being useful or profitable to them, but also doing what is for their spiritual good and advantage]. Be mindful to be a blessing, especially to those of the household of faith [those who belong to God’s family with you, the believers]. Galatians 6:10 (AMPC)
God has abundantly done good to us. Our gratefulness to Him and what He has done to and for us is seen not only in words but acts of reciprocity where we do good to others just as He has done to us. The same goodness God has shown us we are to show to others especially to fellow believers. This is like a family dinner where we are seated together in celebration. The bowl of love, the plate of generosity, the cup of kindness that’s passed to you don’t keep it to yourself but pass it on to the one next to you.
