Immediately after Adam and Eve sinned bringing themselves and all humanity into slavery to Satan, God declares His plan of Redemption. Christ Jesus is the Seed of the woman. He was born of a virgin who knew no man Matthew 1:18-25. The serpent bruising the heel of the Seed of the woman means Christ’s suffering and death and the Seed bruising or crushing the serpent’s head means Christ destroying the power of Satan through His death and resurrection -Hebrews 2:14.Christ has then liberated us and given us authority and power to live and walk in triumph over every enemy, obstacle, and hostility – Luke 10:19.
