Just as everything that happened to Adam when he sinned and fell happened to all humanity, everything that happened to Jesus Christ who is the last Adam representing all humanity also happened to us. We were crucified with Him, we died with Him and we were buried with Him. That old sinful person who is an enemy to God died and was buried with Christ. The person who was cursed, sick, poor, oppressed, depressed, stressed died with Christ and was buried. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says this old man passed away.See and conduct yourself as one who died to sin, and the world (the ungodly system that drives the way of thinking and acting of people without God) – Romans 6:10, 11.For instance, if you’re struggling to overcome a bad habit or an addiction stop owning that habit as “my habit” or that addiction that “I’m a ___ addict” Know and tell yourself that the one who had and practiced that habit died and was buried with Christ. The alcohol, drug, or sex addict died with their addiction and was buried with Christ. This is what happened to you when Christ died and was buried and in this is the power to overcome all bondage.
