The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. 1 Timothy 4:1(NIV)
When you turn away from the Faith you get into the deception of the devil. The Faith means the knowledge, truth, and persuasion of fullness and completeness in Christ. All fullness dwells and is found in Christ and we are complete in Him. Colossians 2:6-7.
All there’s to know about God is in Christ. All there’s to know about the spirit world, physical world is centered in and revolves around Christ. Our salvation and perfection is fully met in Christ. Any thought, idea, knowledge, teaching, instruction, vision, dream, revelation, prophecy, practice, ritual that doesn’t point, focus on, and emphasize Christ as all in all of everything is an abandonment of the Faith and a straying into deception.
