Be assured that from the first day we heard of you, we haven’t stopped praying for you, asking God to give you wise minds and spirits attuned to his will, and so acquire a thorough understanding of the ways in which God works. Colossians 1:9 (MSG)
God’s will isn’t just about what God wants, it’s about His best for us. We are God’s original idea, we began in His imagination, He created us. Therefore He knows what’s for our good and wellbeing. There’s nowhere else we can be at our best and totally fulfilled other than in God’s Will for our life.
Therefore when we are attuned to God’s Will we are in tune with fulfillment.
A mind and spirit in tune with the Word of God and the Holy Spirit is the one that’s attuned to God’s Will. The written Word of God is His general Will for all of us for all the issues of life. When we study it, meditate on it, out of it comes a specific word or instruction which when we act on it guides and helps us see and walk in God’s Will for that specific situation.
The Holy Spirit who’s joined with our spirit leads us from within us in all the Will of God for our life. When we pay attention to what’s in our spirit or heart and follow that we are walking in God’s will for us.
Get attuned to God’s Will by tuning in to His written Word – the Scriptures, the Bible and staying in tune with the Holy Spirit who is always communicating with you from within your heart.
