God so loved us that He gave us His begotten Son.
The weight and worth of what God gave equals the weight and worth that God placed and saw in all humanity. He gave His Son because He saw and esteemed us as His sons.
Like the prodigal son we had wandered away from home and squandered our worth in wasteful sinful living.
Through Christ Jesus the Father caused us to come to ourself, remember where we fell from the position of sonship, beloved of the Father, belonging with him at home in His Love.
In Christ Jesus through the Cross we are sons of God restored to our full legal standing as heirs. We have the very same exact standing and rights before God as Jesus has.
We can boldly, intimately, call and relate with God as our Father.
