When Jesus received the message, He said, This sickness is not to end in death; but [on the contrary] it is to honor God and to promote His glory, that the Son of God may be glorified through (by) it. John 11:4 (AMPC)
Problems don’t come from God. They originate from the devil, they are in the world as a result of the fall of man in Eden, they happen because this is a fallen imperfect world with fallen imperfect men and creation.
But God in His Grace, Mercy, Goodness and power is actively involved in our lives and situations, working even through these earthly problems to bring about our promotion all to His Glory.Sickness is not from God and doesn’t glorify Him. But God’s compassion for and healing of the sick promotes our well-being and glorifies God.No trouble is from God, neither does it glorify Him, but God’s Love and Grace cause us to triumph in and over all troubles.
