But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23 (NKJV)
Fruit grow on branches and the branches don’t struggle to bring forth fruit. The branches effortlessly bear fruit as they remain upheld by the tree. As the branches continually receive life and nutrients from the tree they freely produce fruit in season.
Christ is the tree of Life and we are the branches. This tree of Life has in Him love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Galatians 5:22-23. Because we are joined with Him all these are in us. As we abide in Him that is live and walk persuaded and conscious of our oneness with Him all this fruit effortlessly manifests in our daily conduct. Know Christ, know that He’s in you and you’re in Him. Walk according to this knowledge. That’s how you will effortlessly produce spiritual fruit that pleases and glorifies God.
