Everything God ever desired and intended for us to be is found in Christ. The life, the right relationship and fellowship that God has always had in mind for us before the foundation of the world is fully realized in Christ. For in Christ dwells all the fullness of God. In Him everything that God is and has resides permanently.
So to receive Christ, to be joined with Him, to have a relationship with Him is to embrace, be united with, and live in communion with the fullness of God.
In Christ we are in God and God is in us. In Christ we are no longer struggling to please and be accepted by God, rather we are already pleasing to Him and are already accepted. Christ is now our identity, our destiny.
