It was now the day before the Passover Festival. Jesus knew that the hour had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. He had always loved those in the world who were his own, and he loved them to the very end. John 13:1 (GNT)
He has loved us from ages before the foundation of the world. He loved us while we were still His enemies in our sins. He loves us now when He has freed and sanctified us from sin. He will love us forever throughout the eternities of the eternities because this is who He unchangingly is. God is Love. Therefore God Loves. Who He is, is what God does.
His loving is His giving. In His unconditional Love, He unconditionally gave us His all – His Beloved Son.
He keeps on Loving us, so He keeps on giving us. The Son He gave us is the gift that keeps on giving us life, peace, wisdom, joy, and strength.
His loving is His forgiving. In His unconditional Love, Father God unconditionally forgave us. His forgiving continues on forever.
