When Jesus looked out and saw that a large crowd had arrived, he said to Philip, “Where can we buy bread to feed these people?” He said this to stretch Philip’s faith. He already knew what he was going to do. John 6:5-6 (MSG)
He is omniscient. He’s all seeing and all knowing. Nothing is hid from His eyes and scrutiny but all are laid bare and naked before Him. He sees and knows the past, present, and future.
So nothing gets Him to scratch His head trying to figure out what to do.
Every circumstance, condition, challenge, or crisis that comes, He already knew about it ahead of time and knew how to take care of it.
Therefore we can rest and laugh in the face of any problem or trouble because we have with us, in us, and for us, the One of whom it is written “Is anything too hard for the Lord?”
We don’t have to figure out what the all-knowing One has already figured out.
Our life, our situation, our path, our future He’s already made the best plans and preparations for it all. What is required of us is to trust Him and find out from Him and follow what He says to us.
