Cast your burden on the Lord [releasing the weight of it] and He will sustain you; He will never allow the [consistently] righteous to be moved (made to slip, fall, or fail). Psalms 55:22 (AMPC)
We were never created nor meant to bear and bow down under heavy burdens.
We were created to live and walk as the upright; heads held up straight and high, free children of God.
Man was created on the sixth and last day of creation. The seventh day when God was celebrating His finished works Adam was enjoying his first day in the Rest of God.
This means the Lord created us for rest and not stress. He made us for ease and not heaviness.
Anything you’re carrying that’s causing you to slip, fall or fail is a heavy burden and God doesn’t want you to carry it but lay it on Him.
If it causes you to worry, if it troubles your heart, if it makes you feel helpless, if it depresses you, stop carrying it. Lay it down on the Lord.
Talk to Him about it. Know that He’s able to deal with it. Thank Him for His wisdom and power in sorting it out. Rest in the assurance that He has heard you and done something about that issue as you patiently wait for the answer.
