Excellent speech is not becoming to a fool, Much less lying lips to a prince. Proverbs 17:7 (NKJV)
In other words a fool cannot utter excellent speech because it’s not in him. On the other hand a true prince cannot utter lying speech because it’s not in him and it’s not befitting of him.
A fool is a godless person, someone who disregards and denounces God and His principles.
A true prince or ruler acknowledges and glorifies God and His principles.
A fool or godless person speaks lies, he says things that contradict God and His Word. The fool’s speech is corrupt; it’s death, and destruction.
He ensnares, troubles, and condemns himself and others with his ungodly, fearful, worryful, unbecoming speech.
The prince, princess, king, queen, or ruler’s speech is excellent. It’s godly, life giving, healing, liberating and up building.
Jesus said you’re already clean by my words. John 15:3.
He is the Prince of Life, His speech is excellent – it is full of Grace.
Don’t be a fool, don’t say things that discourage or destroy.
Act the prince, princess, king, queen you truly are, speak gracious words – speak encouragement, healing and wholeness. This is excellent speech.
