Revelation 1:5 (AMPC) And from Jesus Christ the faithful and trustworthy Witness, the Firstborn of the dead [first to be brought back to life] and the Prince (Ruler) of the kings of the earth. To Him Who ever loves us and has once [for all] loosed and freed us from our sins by His own blood.
As faithful and trustworthy witness Jesus Christ Himself is the surety of our redemption.
We have certainty of a real tangible unchanging deliverance, liberty and rest that lasts forever in the person and performance of a man who was crucified, died, was buried and after three days rose from the dead and now lives immortal forever more.
Through His resurrection from the dead Jesus Christ gave witness to and confirmed our freedom from and triumph over sin and death.
Jesus is not witness or testifying of our sins, weaknesses, failures or defeat. He’s not seeing, pointing out to, or emphasizing them.
Jesus is not witness or testifying of what the devil and his demons have done or are doing. He’s not preaching, teaching or revealing those things.
Jesus is not witness or testifying of your ugly, regrettable, painful, past.
He’s not giving sermons, dreams, visions, or prophecies of such.
Jesus Christ is faithful and trustworthy witness, testifying of your joint crucifixion, death, burial, resurrection and seating with Him at the Father’s Right hand far above all things.
Jesus is faithful and trustworthy witness, testifying of your forgiveness of and freedom from sins. Revelation 1:5b (AMPC) To Him Who ever loves us and has once [for all] loosed and freed us from our sins by His own blood.
Jesus is not witness of the sickness, pain and symptoms in your body. He is faithful and trustworthy witness of your healing and wholeness through His body that was broken on the Cross but now after the resurrection indestructible and immortal.
Jesus is not faithful witness of your lack or poverty but of God’s superabundant supply of all your needs.
Philippians 4:19 (AMPC) And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
