The Lord desires you to not only live but live long and live satisfied.Of those that live, few live long, and so very few live satisfied.It’s only the Lord and only in the Lord that we can live long and satisfied.The Scripture hasn’t said that with long life you will be satisfied but that the Lord will satisfy you with long life. It’s the Lord and not the long life that satisfies. This explains why there are people who live long but unhappy and dissatisfied.The Lord satisfies us with long life not by just giving us many years but by filling all our days with His satisfying presence, meaningfulness, peace, sense of worth, and contentment.
